Motorcycle and Small Engine Servicing Training Completed

Twenty five Malvareños received their National Certificate II (NC II) from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) yesterday January 6, 2016. The completed training is part of the Municipality of Malvar’s Bottom Up Budgeting (BUB) projects for 2015, perceived to be an antidote to the poverty situation within the municipality. The trainees, all of them tricycle drivers, said they are very happy about the training they received since this would minimize, if not eliminate, the cost of repairs of their own motorcycles and also give them a sideline of repairing other small engines.Mayor Carlito de la Peña Reyes, who was equally happy about the acquisition of skills of his constituents, handed the certificates to the graduates. He was joined by Carlito Tasico, Co-Chair from the Basic Sector Organizations and John Carlo Paita of the Synergy Training Center.
